Rem 700 investigation

I don't know anything about snipers but do you think they would be using a 100% factory rifle...especially the heavier puoundage and travel trigger settings?

What a silly story!  You would think that police department would have brought them to a gunsmith or sent them back to Remington and had them fixed instead of scrapping them and buying different rifles.  The story is nothing but an overreaction to nothing.  What is even funnier is that now they are using M-16's instead!
