Monkey Tails and String Stops

My matthews switchback has neither. Wondering if anyone has added one of these to an older Mathews that did not come with them. If so, was it worth it?

I got a string stopper for my 5 year old Hoyt and it was amazing how much noise it cut down.  Switchbacks are awful quiet, couldn't hurt.  How much are these parts going to run you?  Would it be worth it to get a new bow.  I picked up a Switchback recently and I never realized how heavy they were till now.

I put one of the string stops made by Limbsaver on my Switchback XT. It definitely makes a difference!

the stabilizers are real cheap. haven't priced the string stoppers. wouldnt invest if they were a lot.

Archerytalk DIY forums have a few how to's on making your own string stop.  Looks super easy, and I'm sure cheaper than what you will pay for from Mathews.

Theres a company that mainly advertizes on Archerytalk that makes a very nice string stop. Its adjustable and fits on just about any bow. Let me see if I can dig the info up, I had one on my old PSE and it worked great.
