Nomad
We had have a program at work ,where we could pull up arial pics click on it and it would show lines and ownership.might have been just available to the Gov. Though idk.that was for the whole county of Monroe. This one is for the city only, not sure if there are other ones for, other areas. http://www.cityofrochester.gov/GIS/ Looks like the county has it too. http://www.monroecounty.gov/gis You can view tax maps in person to get the info, not sure if its on the net . pewlodar
Larry I would guess you have access to Pictometry at work. If it is in Monroe County their info is pretty good. County GIS is a good starting point. Zillow may also be useful but these usual search by address, I believe although not positive. Jennifer
Yes, search for "(your county) county GIS". I know Allegany and Catt. counties have them and you can turn layers on and off to show the property markers and such. Be advised that these are close to the real property lines but can be a little off (I know on my property the lines are about 20-40' off), and should not be considered actual legal property lines-- only a true survey can show those. Here's the Catt. county viewer: http://maps2.cattco.org/parcel/
