Arrow building questions

Think my bow is around 260 fps. Not a speed demon but like you when i pull my arrows i get alot of penetration

My point was not speed but heavier arrows.  I also shoot heavier poundage than some, but with those same bows, 480g penetrate much better than 425g even though 425 are faster.

I got your point. Ive always been known to shoot heavy arrows and get weird looks. I may just add some more weight!

Yep, I like the 125g heads, but they are more difficult to find at times.

I use to shoot 125 grain aftershocks....man those things were nasty! I think you can still find 125grain heads around just seems alot of shops are after the speed hype and 100gr is about as high as they go.

I see the 125 Montecs all the time. That is what I shoot. Easy to resharpen so you dont have to worry about replacing them very ofthen.
