again too wet to use tractor...nice and clean and opened up a few new ones...one to where I'll use a climber and to a ground blind I use...need to turkey hunt there...woods tore up!!...while there I here a clank and the Leese guys were hooking up a climber 30yrds behind my ground blind....hopefully the deer will continue to use the trails...I know the doe are....one guy was in a gillie suite and had an arrow knocked...sure they call for retrieval...they'll be surprised when the cams catch them ...always hunt in pairs..I find that strange for bow hunters...during gun it's the guy in the full head to toe gillie...NO orange with a guy with an orange vest....They always act surprised before moving, when they see me in me stands and blinds...that have been there for 15 years....then again they never hear me come in and setting up...

No the Leese's...I can't tell you how many times I've gone in to find those two dbl timing it out of the area...it's foolish...but some times good...I go in so darn early and with out noise and they come in after crunching and snapping every thing...they do try the afternoons but that drives the deer down hill...enough times that they will go nocturnal...and because they are East of me...and my land is all west the deer have to travel through mine or part of mine to get to them....so I'll move farther west to catch them during legal, hours...the problem is....these guys are the ones that shoot way after legal time....I've tried to have them caught because I call the moment I hear the shot...but authorities always get there too late....One day I'll just get them on video.....

They set up 90 feet from your ground blind and shoot after legal hours. Oh my!

Everything is wet here also. Been watching a nice Tom and a couple of his jake buddies the last couple of nights now. Always come in after legal light. They got it from their deer buddies, LOL.

lol I believe these turkeys were in early this morning...Mr B keeps telling me I need to grab the gun and go hunt them...that would be when a big buck shows up....should be legal during bow/turkey to carry both...as long as there is only turkey shot in your shot gun...

So Grow ...... How do you like that DR Trimmer. I have two of them now. The first one had a battle with a heavy deer-proof welded-wire cage around an elderberry bush down next to the driveway. I cracked the bearing casting on the rotating housing. I rebuilt that one and it is now just about as good as new. In the meantime, I had to buy another one because I rely on it so much for mowing both sides of our 1000' driveway and ditches. So now I have two. Both are the most reliable implements I have ever owned. Two pulls max and it is starting (first thing in the spring, never fails). The first one is about 9 years old now and has seen some super heavy-duty use. I don't baby these things. They are meant to work, and that's exactly what they do. They did change from a cast body to a heavy gauge sheet metal one for the new one, but it still looks super rugged.

OMG I love it...I think it's 17 or 18 yrs old...and I have the beaver blades...to say I have worked it like a horse is so the under statement....and it's still going strong...It takes the trails down very short and around the roots so that the leafs blow away when dry...and it still cuts 4ft high brush...though she doesn't purr like she use to... she still kicks weed buttand starts on 3 pulls...lol

From what I have seen with the trimmer, I have no doubt that the DR folks have a firm commitment to quality. I'm sure that ethic runs through anything that they market. At least that will be my opinion until shown otherwise.
