Just wondering if anyone hunts in the 4r or 4s wmu? greene county area

I hunt 4H ... across the street from 4R .  And 4B which is just north of 4S !

This is my first year bow hunting , been hunting over 30 years otherwise ! Unfortunately I have'nt been out more than once yet !  So I cant really say ... sorry !

I hunt in both of those areas. Was out the first two weekends and saw a lot of does but didnt see any bucks.  Havent been back since as i have been hunting the island.  I will be hunting 4r the opening weekend of rifle season. This season was the worst i have had for trailcam pics also up in those area and didnt get many big bucks all summer on the cams.

i hunt on the island also and rifle up in greene county. bucks have been slow except for one monster shot by my area last year.

4Y for me. Nothing seen yet other than on cams at night. Heading up this weekend hoping to see some moving during the day.

4S for me, ok doe sightings but not as good as other years. Lots of activity at night on the cam with many small bucks daily and a couple of decent ones too. Unfortunately a neighboring hunter has taken to driving around the field next to us and that has things buggered up a bit.

4R for me. Tons of doe activity and a few small bucks opening weekend. Its slowed down for 2 weeks after that but, now its picking  up and should be a great weekend with the cold front coming in.  If you aren't afraid to hike a little and don't mind dragging your buck, there's plenty up on the tops of the peaks. Plenty of bucks in the area, you just have to work a little harder here without the AG crops around.
