the blur
I hunt state park land, and opening weekend, there are usually a lot of cars. But after that, very very few. Like 2 or 3 at most. I'm surprised to learn there are opening weekend hunters, and then they are done. Either they are tagged out, or just give up hope. What do you guys do ? ididnotvoteforobama
I always take vacation time , like 3 weeks in Nov. I hunt from day 1 bow season to the last day of late bow / muzzleloader. I have only tagged out once ,years ago , but that is the only way I'd be done hunting before the season ends.
BUCKANDAQUARTER
I am a hard core hunter, I love it and get out whenever I can, all the way to end.
Geno C
Since I live on the island I only go up for opening on sat and hunt sat, sun, mon, tues, and come home weds and I'm done. Next year will be fun since I'm moving up there in a few weeks, inwhich will give me more time in the woods

GreeneHunter
When they changed opening day to Saturday as opposed to Monday things changed alot ! I remember opening day (Monday) was like a war zone on state land ! Now alot of people do not have to take time off from work and can hunt 4 weekends - gun season ! I definately go out the forst weekend -Sat and Sun and generally 2-3 days per week after that .
