  3. Snuck out of work early to hunt from 2:30 to sunset... nada... again. Last live deer I saw while in the stand was opening day... unbelievable. Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  4. Found a fawn skull in the woods today. I was talking to a guy who turkey hunted the property in the spring and he saw 5 or 6 dead doe/fawn curled up in various pines. He is a pastor too, so I believe him, lol. Very sad sight. Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  5. Dark to dark for me as well. Didnt plan on it either lol. No food no water. I was going to get up at 1030 and get some eats but then a doe and two fawns came in and decided to hang out bedding and feeding until 3. About 400pm I think 2 of them came back. Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  6. Got a doe and two fawns bedded in front of me and I want to go home to eat! Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  7. Had a spike cruise through this morning, other than that not much happening. Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk

  10. Had a uni-horn come in hot and heavy after a young doe, doing some cute little grunts... she wasn't too amused. It kinda reminded me of myself and my wife. Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  11. I hear jmg is serving freshly picked dingleberries Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  12. I walked through a 40 acre thicket via the mowed trail to go hang a stand and I jumped a spike. "Oh cool" I thought and took 10 steps looked up and there was the head of a younger 8pt staring at me 20 yards in. He took off eith a doe so I took another 20 steps and up jumps another spike... never before... and last night I had a 4pt walk directly underneath me when I was halfway up the tree. It's on. 13. Congratulations Zem! Glad you were able to battle through it, find him and put him down. Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  14. Yesterday I spooked a buck an my way in to my stand. Decent rack and a big body. He was about 20 yards from the tree I was going to relocate to so after he left I took the liberty of doing just that. Today I snuck in with the pole pruners and snipped a couple limbs. 4pm heard movement and saw a few bodies. One was a buck and he ended up chasing and let out a nice long grunt. This was a welcomed sight after the last few weeks. The parcel adjacent to the land I hunt was logged off and things have been.... different. Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  15. Took me awhile to find it too... xbow has a couple up as well. Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  16. Its under "stickies" in the bow section. Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  17. That's one hell of a buck! Hope you had a fresh pair of underwear with you. Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  18. That's a beauty! Congratulations! Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  19. I have a HSS harness, very nice harness IMO, fits like a glove (better than OJ Simpson's), and I use lifelines. The lifelines are nice to use considering that the majority of tree stand accidents occur ascending or descending. Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  20. I was wondering when this thread would show up. Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  21. On the older o ring style you can use a small rubber band (like a dental rubber band) around the center of the blades to keep them tight and it won't affect anything. I just purchased some shock collars and no issues at all. Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  22. Good thing they didn't live up to the name "wagon burners". Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  23. Hey, I do what I can. It's a gift, really. No need to thank me. Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  24. Which sucks lol Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
  25. He used his antlerless in 3M instead of his 3M DMP. So now he can't go to a different WMU. Sent from my SCH-S968C using Tapatalk
