When I go to enter a new stand on the stand list, The pushpin is nowhere near where I actually am. Anyone else have issues with how the app marks their stands? I also tried the manual entry using coordinates from a handheld GPS - that didnt work either- posted me somewhere in Guam!

West Latitude has a - in front of it. East latitude has a + or nothing in front of it. Remind me not to ask you for fire support should I need it.

happened to me to. Go to your settings and make sure your location services are on for that app or it wont find you

you have to give it some time. especially with low cell reception. it's a drawback in areas with poor reception, but eventually it zooms in. I've found the cabela's paid app a little better but only if you're really going to use

There is an app called GPS kit, it is amazing. You can download the maps, mark points, take pictures and tag them and put notes on the map. I use it for scouting in the off season because you can use it to draw tracking lines where you have traveled on the property so at a later date you can not repeat that same area. It's a little pricey but was worth every penny. I even export the files from the app which is a feature and you can open the file with the tracking and pinpoints and open it in google earth and view it on your computer.
