Ammo sales background checks suspended indefinitely

   Question ??   Once WE would have a back ground check & pay the fee why would we ever have to pay again once we are in the system ?? Also where does the fee money go & who gets it ??  If this all happens gun owners should insist the money goes into the conservation fund or the some  shooting sports orgs.  Its all BS !

 

The same reason you have to pay sales tax on a used car every time it changes ownership , greed.

don't many non assault weapons use the same ammo as assault weapons?.......sounds like B.S. to me.

And I agree, it sounds like B.S. to me also, and yet the claim keeps coming up here. On the other hand most reasonable people would say this is not possible, but the people who authored the law are not "reasonable people". So if some clause like that popped up out of nowhere, I guess I would not be all that surprised.

 

The other thing that concerns me is that the "specific contents and wording of the law is really only a starting point. So many of the details are allowed to be administration rules that they kind of make up as they go along. So if some of the rules and regulations cannot be found specifically in the text of the law, that doesn't mean that they cannot be some administrative rules created to expedite and administer the intent of the law as they interpret it.
