Still many leaves on the trees.

Yesterday was a little chilly and windy in the stand.  I got up in it before sunrise and stayed until 9:30 AM when I had to head in.  The trees look great with all the golden leaves on them, but the shorter younger trees around my stand are blocking my view.  I didn't see a thing all morning.  When I got down at 9:30 AM I took about 6 steps and heard a deer blow about 40 yards away in the trees full of leaves.  I couldn't even see it in those trees.  I hope it was a doe.  I have no idea if it was there for awhile or just coming to me.  I'm really looking forward to all the leaves falling down.

One of my stands is like that. First year I hunted it, I got busted a bunch of times the first weekend.

Can't see and with no frost they don't even make any noise.
