JALA RUT
Anybody familiar with or use the Flextone Thunder Yelper, the Flextone Thunder Cutt'n, or the Flextone Cluck n Purrr calls? Thinking about trying them out and was looking to see how you like them. Also, what do you use as a good owl locator call? Was looking into the Knight & Hale Prudhomme owl call. Woodjr55
I feel like flextone calls never sound like they do in the videos you see. I have 4 flextone calls and would only recommend the grunt call I used. My brother bought me a flextone thunder gobble and it sounds like a train is coming. It's probably just me sucking with the call thou

G-Man
get a reed type and a barrel type owl hooter... sometimes one will work when the other doesn't. any brand will work ,primos,hs strut, lohman, quakerboy, mad... they are only as good as the person using them, i even use an elk bugle.. practice is key.. you dont need to sound perfect but need to get cadence and patterns down. alloutdoors
Just stick to pots, boxes, diaphragms, etc. No need for gimmicky calls like the Flextone stuff. Hard to beat a Harrison Hoot'n Stick for an owl call.
