NYLongBeards
Hello everyone so I’m trying to collect some information from the local community it came across my mind as a conversation with me and my father after I noticed a lot of these bugs on my deer I harvested today and I noticed them back in turkey season this year and I really thought they were strange looking insects and even my father said the same thing and we both have never noticed their existence before is it something new or just something more prevalent ? I attached a photo of the insect in case no one has heard of them but might have seen them.

PraiseDiana
I've seen these on a deer I harvested before. Harmless but creepy!
Lucky118
Place I hunt is infested with them. Constantly picking them off my head.
E J
The place I used to hunt in potter county PA had them bad. The deer were loaded with them in the more mature wingless version and if the weather was warm during the fall turkey season they would being flying into my beard. Creeped me the f out to where I wouldn't hunt if it was warm out.
