Turkeys across the road...

So ive got a dilemma. Every morning when i pick my fiance up from work, on the way back we have spotted at least 6 gobblers...across the road from where i can hunt. Usually no more than 30 yards off the road. Went scouting last night and found this on my side of the road...

Wondering if they eventually cross over or if this is a whole nother flock of birds thats on my side. Cant hunt the other side, have asked for years with a very polite no the answer. During my scouting i saw a set of tracks that are by far the biggest gobbler tracks ive ever seen. And just a few mornings ago we saw probably the biggest gobbler ive ever seen, beard dragging and it looked like a mop head instead of paint brush lol. Any tips or tricks you can think of? Its obvious i have birds on my side but not sure when they are coming thru. Cant use trail cams for fear of theft. One last tidbit, ive taken a bird in this spot pretty much every year after 9/930 am...

Can you get permission to walk that property? Not hunt, but walk?

 

I'd see if that was possible and bust that flock up before they go to roost.

 

They will cross roads, they do it all the time. Can you pull them away from the hens? different story

i have birds across the street...they cross it all the time, and do so at almost a specfic time..if you see them at same time try coming thru a little earlier and see which side the arecoming from or crossing too... mine cross the road at 830-900 every morning from west to east...

Cant walk the property unfortunately. I think this weekend im going to sit and listen and see if they cross or what happens.

I've had that happen with gobblers that would roost on the other side of a creek before.

 I got tired of watching them strut off out of the creekbottom every morning as soon as they hit the ground on the other side, so one night I snuck in and gave 'em a few yelps just before dark to let them know I was there from my side. The next morning they never stepped foot on the other side and glided right down to the end of my barrel before I could make my first call!

Problem for me is its a fairly busy road and about 150 yards from my set of woods to the other set of woods that ive been seeing them. I think we may try the hen decoy on my side of woods and see if we cant coax them to cross

Heard gobbles from across the road this morning. Fresh tracks on my side. Im thinking this year will be no different at this spot....its an after 9 spot lol.
