A little disappointed in my wild game innovations camera

I pulled cameras after a week in the woods. Happy to catch a bunch of deer on both cameras but one pic made me mad. You can see tracks in the snow but no pic of the deer or critter.

Is it on a delay, if so a running or trotting deer might get past?  Just a thought.  Cold weather possibly effected trigger speed?

I have a wildgame trail cam, and when it goes into sleep mode it takes 5-6 secs. to snap a pic. I get a lot of blank pics, try leaving it on video, if there is more than 1 critter you should get some footage.

I used my iPad to check them and the video does work on it. I need to invest in a couple more sd cards

Try putting your camera aimed down the trail instead of across the trail. It will keep the animal in the picture longer. Also at night the PR sensor will pick up the heat and movement farther out then the flash can illuminate.
