Looks like a dogwood but not sure this may not be the same bush but where we hunt in 8N these have to taken over the woods bad the last few years deer seem to love eating them bark has a dark reddish tint with small white spots

Brains not registering it right now...so 8N where I am...are there berries?.... bright red berries it is dog wood brush....small greenish(now)  with speckles that turn orange/red with speckles,leafs are silvery on one side  is autumn olive(bad on tractor tires for the stems get hard sharp spurs)...White berries and it is dogwood brush.....they can all be controlled with cutting and spraying ...or mowing around the ones you want to keep...DEC asked me how I keep mine under control on a walk through...I mow paths and put in plots around the ones I want to keep for turkey and deer....

 

Ohhh or red stemmed dogwood.doesn't look it.....or Streamco willow

Thanks grow not sure about berries when we are out there it is end of Oct. but if I remember correctly the leaves are bright green on one side & silver tint on the bottom so I guess it would be the olive

They have really taken over the state land we hunt over the last few years bad

Mountain lion strain of hogweed ? Heard the DEC released it in NY

looks like autumn olive..invasive non-native.. but provides food for game.
