Big box stores don't carry top of the line bows. I was just wonder why big box stores don't carry boy like Hoyt's Mathews Athens ect ect.

I would say it's like power tools go to Home Defect and others for second rate tools or go to an industrial supply house for good quality tools.

Do you realy think the part time  sales people know how to set up a bow properly.

The also could be seconds, if the did sell them.

I assume its like any other vendor/manufacturer relationship. A deal couldn't be agreed upon.

I wonder how much it has to do with sponsors.

Bear and PSE come to mind with Primos and the Drury Bros. having ties to other products on the shelf like calls, scents, videos, and all that jazz.

well most big box store want to sell at a certain price, even home depot for example, a cub cadet there is not the same from a cub cadet dealer.. even with the same model. dont believe it try comparisons..kubota has a big box line, and a dealer line same models much different quality. many big highend bow manufactures do not want to be associated with an inferior line ..they make 1 the right way.

Box stores are about price points, not quality. Some manufacturers are the opposite.

Just compare the yoyo at a big box store to the wisdom at a mom and pop shop. The only way for big box to make money with yoyo's is to make it up with volume.
