Shotgun Suggestions

I'm looking to pick up a new shotgun for deer season. My budget is around $300. Can I get a decent gun at this price? Any suggestions on what to go with?

Mossberg 500 combo, comes with smooth bore bird barrel and rifled slug barrel with scope for around $350 brand new. hunt almost anything in NY with one gun

Mossberg 500, Remington 870 Express,H&R all make deer hunting shotguns in that price range.A pump works well and gives you follow up shooting capabilities.H&R makes an accurate  single shot . You may be able to find a bargain used slug gun at your local gun shops too. Google what I mentioned and read the reviews you should be able to find several that will do the job. The Mossberg 500 and Remington 870 pumps have put tons of venison in freezers.Not sure what Winchester has these days.Good luck.

I have a Rem 870 Express Magnum that I'm interested in selling. Rifled barrel, cantilever mount, 1.5-6 Simmons scope, like new condition.

cant go wrong with a Mossberg 500 for the price its worth every penny for what you will get out of it.  You can even mount a scope for the rifled slug barrel.  Great all round hunting weapon.
