RamRodz Gun Cleaning

One of the lousy chores when it comes to firearms is the cleaning ritual. When you do a lot of shooting there ends up being a lot of cleaning. I have found these RamRodz swabs to be a great addition to a gun cleaning arsenal, they make getting into hard to reach spots on both long guns and handguns easier and less messy. I use my preferred solvent brands and get really nice results with these swabs.

Back in my Military Days we used to just dunk the weapon in a tub of Hot Water - loosens all the carbin up - and then clean as you would normally !

A deep clean for my handguns is usually done by taking the grips off and putting the gun in a Tupperware type container and letting it soak in white kerosene, it will loosen up all the crud.

Greene Hunter- that sounds like what they used to do in the Revolutionary War. Guess if it works, no sense on changing it.
