When someone becomes unable to shoot with their domminant hand what do or how to train the other hand or not possible.I ask because I may not beable to hunt with my right hand but my left hand is good to work with.Would one have to use a left handed fire arm

I think the biggest overcome for someone would be dominant eye vs non dominant eye.

I am right handed since I can remember. Lost the use of it and my wrist for 16 weeks , a lot of pain and swelling.It geadualy got better then moved to my left hand. A few days before bow season started I just put on my Scott release and tried a few shots , Now I am pulling from my wrist not fingers, Left hand just holds the bow , very little pressure on the fingers that are hurting right now when trying to pull or lift something.

If you really want to be out there hunting you will find a way. Lots of luck.

My idea is to go to range and try shooting left handed just incase my right is no good for this season going to start with 22 untill comfortable for larger cal.

Rifle I shoot Left handed ( eye Problem ) although I am right handed , Never a problem.I shot bench rest rifles that way with. groups of  .100 to.200 no problem. Go for it.
