Sharpening Broadheads

anyone ever try a regular knife sharpener?

do they work or are the angles different then a knife?

Define a "regular" knife sharpener.

 

What broadheads?

 

I've used all kinds of methods to sharpen many a bunch of different broadheads, most have worked out pretty good but took some adapting.

running innerloc carbon tuners was just wondering in an emergency (so to speak)

if I should use my cheap little pocket knife sharpener or will it not put the correct edge (angle) on it

sharpener is  one of the oval 2 step paddle looking sharpeners I think it is a smith

Those blades look more like a razor blade angle, which is probably different than a typical knife edge. Easy sharpening of broad heads is why I use G5 Montecs. Just use a regular flat stone. Easy as pie.

Ok have not used these heads yet

when I was using the Rage I had a package of replacement blades for emergencies 

but my shop was out of them for the carbon tuners will just have to try my best not to hit the dirt with them LOL
