Pheasants in CNY

Isn't there a place in CNY where you can buy pheasants and they put them out in the field for you to hunt?  I remember someone mentioning a place like that around the finger lakes, but I can't find it online or remember the name of it.  Looking for a place to get my pup onto some birds.  Thanks

I used to do a few hunts a year at Ringneck Preserve in Darien Center, but haven't been there in two years. Highly recommended though.

I know the DEC has a program where you can raise them from chicks, if you qualify.  I don't know the laws on purchasing your own to raise but I found a few sites by doing a google search.

ringneck is gone I'm pretty sure, they sold the property. It's a shame, they are super nice people

Anyone been there?  Is it worth the cost?

I haven't been there, but I know some guys that do. Price wise they're pretty competitive and I hear they have some nice property. Hopefully someone else can chime in who has actually been there.

I just did a hunt at the Catskills Pheasantry with my dad. They did an excellent job. We had ton of fun. The guide and the dog were great. Highly can recommend them. They also do deer hunts and spring turkey. 10 birds min.
