Record-breaking Oneida Lake sunfish

Gregory Martin, 5, of Buffalo, caught this 1 lb 13.7 oz pumpkinseed in Oneida Lake in late August. If confirmed, the fish would set a new state record, and possibly a new world record.

I see there was a fellow that broke the state Largemouth record this year also.

I do remember reading that.  12.35 lb. largemouth would be fun to catch. It doesn't surprise me it came from Cayuga Lake. There have been some nice fish taken in that lake. Good for him.
