That is amazing… When I was 30 my friend ( who is the same age as me)  shot a black bear that the DEC said was 28 years old. I thought it was amazing to take an animal that was born just a couple years after us and had romped around the woods from the time we were toddlers  to the time we were all married and had kids. But this story is just wild. 185 years ?? Nuts..

Does anyone know what the normal age of a gator is?I know they say snapping turtles are old as hell if they are big but its just rumor mill stuff and nobody that really knows
