Hypothetically speaking CWD

If this disease is really as bad as they want you to believe it is and they 100% know from their research that corn and alfalfa and other crops allow the prions to be instilled in them from the soil into their stems and corn why do they not stop the movements and sales of these crops from any CWD positive states?   These crops are sold at every feed store, every Tractor Supply or Runnings or anywhere else the stuff is sold in fact moving the CWD across the country. We are allowed to hand feed animals CWD ourselves. That won’t be halted because it’s billions of dollars in sales. These crops are not just sold in this country but every country. All the same prions we are talking here that are involved in Scrapies in sheep and CWD in deer. Mind you that sheep farms can farm right thru Scrapies, even positive farms and move animals to other farms across the country and sell meat to meat markets that hit stores all across the country with just an ear tag and a vet Health certificate… which is just a visual check  Now when it comes to Whitetails a farmer has the be 5 years CWD tested before they can even be certified to sell animals… meaning they have to raise and feed their animals for 5 years and killing 10% of their numbers every year just to test to see if they have it and every natural death to see if they have it. All the while mind you of not being able to bring in any income at all from those animals for 5 years. 1000’s of dollars in feed, health and everyday care for 5 years. I could go on for hours here but any person with half a brain can see the big picture when it comes to CWD and its uses when it’s agenda driving. 

FS I know you have skin in the game but man you speak like a real angry person. How much has this controversy hurt your business?

lol. Sound angry by giving the 100% facts?  Definitely should piss anyone off of all the government overreach headed in one direction without a doubt. Personally all CWD has done to me is stop me from buying any animals from outside the state to bring in. That was simply fixed by me learning how to Ai breed my own does. If anything it improved my business because anyone in Ny that wants to buy bucks to fill their hunting preserves have to buy Ny animals or my better genetics in the does has to buy Ny deer. But I can still sell to most all other states. We are in the process of building our 3rd farm in the state because even with pushing 300 head we still can’t fill the hunting preserves demand.  After quitting my real job at 30 years old to just raise Whitetails to 61 so far this industry has been life changing for me and mine but to sit back and listen to the uneducated and watching the agendas of some that do not like high fence gets edgy at times. Not sure how the words of the truths sound angry but I guess they really should. You would have to think of something in the way you do your deer hunting on your land and then have a pile of your neighbors coming up with all kinds of lies or falsehoods that you do to those animals over and over when in fact it’s 100% not true. Not sure if that would even be a strong enough accusation.               Maybe it’s just your pissed after reading all the facts of the overreach by government and the uneducated speak of others??

No not pissed at all. That last post was pretty good. I get it and glad you can sell to other states and the business is that good!

Everyone should be pissed about any government overreach for sure.  And if you had a couple days to sit down and actually see the truths in black and white and not all the banter coming from those that either have an agenda against an industry or a white coat that uses the banter to get money from the federal government so they can continue to get rich researching the same things over and over again for the last 60 years when the disease and the animals themselves have shown everyone just how harmless they really are. Man sticking their noses into mother natures business once again. I can tell you one thing that will be another fact… If those that are working right now in our federal government to stop the wasting of money that’s been going on for years puts a hammer on all this over and over again research you will see CWD go by the way of Ebola or Covid for that matter. It will be history.
