Hard to find magazines

Seems like everyone has at least one firearm that takes a magazine or has owned one at some point. I was recently searching the internet for extra magazines for a pistol and for a rifle I own. I had seen the pistol mag for sale back in November and I should have ordered it and the price was $27. Now the only one I can find is on eBay for $48. All other sites state "Temporarily out of stock".

Doors anyone out there have a go to site you have used for hard to find magazines? Let us know who you use or have used, or if you just fell on dumb luck looking for that hard to find magazine.

I found one for the rifle too and had to laugh at $100 price tag on Gunbroker.

I found a site that allows backorders so I placed an order. Was $3 more than the cheapest site I previously saw it on in November.

I don't think anyone is trying to keep any secrets..

For sure I am not...It's just that if I were looking for a mag, I'd search online ( like most of us would) and check obvious sources like Brownell's or Numrich....

Believe me I have searched a lot of places, including Brownells, but am glad someone said Numrich as it never came to mind. Was just looking for some insight to some places I may have overlooked or forgot about is all.

And I was being sarcastic about keeping secrets which is hard to do on a forum, so stop being so mean Pygmy!

What are the guns in question?

 

I may (kind of like I "may" have another cookie!) be going to a gun show this coming weekend and if by chance I find one maybe I can get a phone number for you.  I know one of the bigger shows at the Hamburg Fair grounds has a guy there that has a truck load of misc mags.
