Hi,

I go by the name of Burt, been hunting and fishing for over 30 yrs. Have 1 PY buck to my name that graces the cabin wall. I have made numerous friends along my hunting journey in NYS, we have a great community. I have a camp in Steuben county NY that is loaded with deer turkey and bear. It is a wonderful place and many memories have been made there. I hunt pretty hard from bow all the way to smoke pole. During the season I do put aside a few weekends to take a kid out to hunt. This could be the most rewarding experience of you hunting career. Last year I had a 14 year old boy out with me and on his first bow hunt he took down a button buck with a perfect shot. I will never forget the look and feeling we both had when he harvested that deer. It beats anything else I've done in the woods, you should consider it every year. I'm looking forward to all the posts on the site.
