If you had to pick one variety what would you choose I'm thinking turnips read they were good soil builder any thoughts

PT for food early and late...but hog radish for early feed and best soil building

look at our DoubleBeam Brassica Blend.  It has PTT, Barkant Turnip, Bonar Rape, DER and Ground Hog Radish.  I have had excellent results with this blend.

Sorry, but my experience has been that turnips depleat the soil of nutients. The first year they will grow great. The following years you will need to make sure your soil ph is good and fertilize heavy.

I like my white radish. Placing an order for 40 pounds this month. Plenty of corn and soybeans around my area but, no radish.
