growalot
Really.... I walk into the gym and everyone...even ppl I haven't seen in months stop to say hi, using my first name....I recognize them.... can recall past conversations...facts like kids and spouses ect ect...but do you think I can remember anyone's name???? It is the worst problem and one I have had ALL of my life...seriously ...family reunions where just the worst! Most all my jobs required I interact with clients and an entire high school... Almost a sick joke when I think about it...Hell I stood in line at the Geneseo DMV...worst one ever...for so long when it got to my turn... When asked, I forgot my name!.... blackradio
I forgot most peoples names almost instantly after they tell me unless it is an interesting name or someone really important.
growalot
LOL thanks...ya know I have turned it into such an art form that ppl I have never met and I have had long conversations. My thinking the whole time, I have no idea who you are!...Now one would think, not so unusual... They thought we'd met. Then, they later came back to say (why would anyone do this) I realized that you weren't who I thought! But what a good talk, thanks....hahaha This has happened a few time in my life...lol So I was interrupted by the roofers coming to do an estimate when typing this...ya probably not... one look at the roof ( ^ )That's about the pitch...So they asked who did the porch roof...Well I gave the dates they did it ,the directions to where they lived.., how many worked on it and nope no names...my brain feels fried.... ants
I have always been great with faces and terrible with names. I can see a person and say "thats the guy from the cook out, 4 years ago. He had the Hawaiian shirt on and drove that red Ford F150. He knows my cousin Joe and use to work with Tom " I have seen him 4 or 5 times since the cookout but I have no clue what his name is.. You're not alone. I have always been that way,,,
