45/70
Shoots great with the scope. I have the peep sights on my 450Marlin, it depends on were I go hunting what I carry . The matching butt - cuff and belt cartridge holder was made by lever leather. First class job. The folding knife holder was made for me by a guy in Texas. P.s. the cuff on the rifle is a cuff. Not a butt - cuff. I have rifles wit butt-cuffs. They slip over the hole butt. Edited August 23, 2015 by 45/

ants
I had an old Marlin 336 SC in 35 Rem. It had the same style, old school leather sling on it. I sold it about 30 years ago and put the money towards my first bolt action. Wish I stall had that Marlin..
45/70
I like the the older marlins. My uncle has a old 30/30 that he traded his. 1940 ford for when he got out of the service. He had another car. He didn't have a deer rifle. I
45/70
Sorry I didn't get to Finnish my post. Don't see how to edit the post so I have to do it here What I wanted to add was I hope my uncle gives me the first chance to buy his deer rifle , I walked a lot of miles true the woods with him and his marlin. That is when he hands it up for good. He can still clime up in the seat of his oliver 550 and brush hog a field @ 86 yr. Old. God bless um.
Jaeger
Looks great! I really like the cuff idea that does not cover the whole butt of the gun. That way it does not increase the length of pull. One question, it looks like the cuff has the sling attached to it, how well does that work? Does it slip at all? I'll look at his website, but would also be interested in a piece/small cuff over the forearm, perhaps between the barrel and magazine tube to attach the other end of the sling. Really nice work! Jaeger
Found it at the bottom of his butt stock, slip cover page. Sling attaches to the butt cuff and front slips between the barrel and mag., really neat!! Getting a new lever this fall, great ideas there! Thanks for sharing it! 45/70
Your. Welcome leather takes two weeks off In Oct to go Elk hunting. The rest of the time he is during orders. P.s. it doesn't slip , but I have had to tighten the Lace's a couple times. No problem. Edited August 27, 2015 by 45/
