Ha! Yeah, you are right. I started fussing around with licking branches back in 2008, but in 2009 when I got this guy mid-morning. I was hooked. And it has been the most effective tactic that I have found to date.

Using a drag line seems like a fork in the road. How does the buck know what way to follow. Does he go in your direction or back the way you had come from

Drag lines work ether way a buck walks on the line. Its just suppose to get him to go past your set up and hopefully get drawn in or stop long enough for you to get a shot off.
