bubba
I am out the door shortly to go pheasant and grouse hunting for a while. I had a coworker/friend who died at 38 from breast cancer. I am taking her son out to play a bit today. His dad does not hunt, so I am out with him. No dog this year as I had to put my lab down in october, but we will still be out and about. bubba
well there is a piece of state land here where they release pheasants. The state lets a local farmer plant corn and alfalfa there, as long as they leave some of the corn for the wildlife. Anyway we worked the edges of the corn field and bumped up three grouse. We could not get a shot, but we had a nice hunt, talked a lot and made memories. I think we would have been successful if we had a dog. I hope by spring I can get everyone to agree to getting another.
