cbx46
Didn't get a deer this year either but I passed up a few nice bucks early on bc they were young and about 4 dozen does. But it still stinks to not get one this year but last year was awesome. I might do stand by once does it pay to bring a hunting partner. Or does it make it harder? TheRock
The only time it makes it harder to bring a partner is when you have a day picked to hunt and you add them on at the day of the hunt. They make you wait till last. When you go on standby your getting out last anyway. The whole system sucks. Going out tomorrow at Hither Hills with 4 other guys. Hope its a good day. mbucks27
I was out on monday with my brother. he saw two deer far off in the brush and i didnt see anything. We split up about 40 50 yards apart and walked for about 4 miles using his GPS. Snow was too deep so for the afternoon we decided to just sit where we found some good sign but nothing cam through. I think that will be my last hunt of the year. Now its time for shed hunting once the snow melts a bit. Good luck to anybody who is still getting out there!!!
