long island rut

havent been able to get in the woods because i am at school but plan on getting out saturday. Just wanted to see what you guys hunting long island thought about how the rut has been. Any chasing? big buck activity? thanks and good luck to all

If you go to Long Island Deer Hunting on Facebook you will see that there was a spike in buck kills this past week. Some really nice deer taken. I believe they are seeking now thus leading to more kills. Its time to be in the woods!

I was out yesterday, took this guy about 8am, although his tarcel gland was dark and pungent , he was casually walking thru the woods browsing, no sign of rut that I could see.
