Taylormike
About the 8n's for food plots and Bush hogging? I'm thinking for the money they are hard to impossible to beat. I have middle buster, Bush hog. Just need 8n and a disc harrow and its food plot time, it will be my first. Btw, I already tested the soil. growalot
Depends on how big your going...I still do a few of mine with the tiller even though I have the 36hp JD,2 JD lawn tractors and the Gator....also depends on types and location of plots...my best investsments were the harrow drag first then the pull behind spreader...then We got the tractor and it was the disc...then the york rake... chiefbkt
I'd go diesel if it's in your budget. If it's not, you have to start somewhere and they're pretty inexpensive. A set of discs, a York take, and you're golden to start. Good luck.
Buckmaster7600
8n's are great little tractors. For little food plot work it would work perfect.
Taylormike
Yep, my budget is small. I'm thinking the 8n for money is great! Would love diesel with loader but that's just not happening at this time.
