Checked the cam today. Lot's of does. First buck on cam since season closed.

Are these with a burst mode??  he doesn't seem to like it...  nice buck!! something to try for next year!!

Yes it is a 4 shot burst but I think this one  is bothered by something in the woods. He is looking that way and then bolts.

I thought it was the camera too. I have had other deer bolt like that at  night only, so I think they dont like the IR. It only makes a slight noise when it goes off so I dont know if they see the IR like a white flash, or they see the bank of red led's flashing.

Someone else said in another thread that maybe the camera makes a noise when the flash charges. I used to have a camera that would whistle when the flash charged. Maybe it is out of human hearing frequency.

I am going to test it on the dog.
