I may be able to bring someone up on the property I hunt for deer, after the deer season, for yotes. The property owner is having a hard time with them killing his pets, and wants them done away with. Judging by the sign, there are a bunch of them there. Seen 2 of them the other day, but, was unable to get a shot with the bow.

Sounds good. I promised him and his wife, that I would spend time up there after deer season, to try to cull the population. You ought to hear these things howling in the mornings in that area. It's unbelievable!

A buddy of mine has shot hundreds of em from southern tear and we will be out there soon to get some more.There are so many of them that we see them in the streets and side of the road all the time!

Hey guys, I'm new to hunting (but not shooting) and looking to learn the ropes with coyotes as well. I'd be coming out of NYC, and it'd be great to tag along and be a spotter while I'm waiting for my NYC rifle permit to go through.

Hope you guys are still out there hunting. I plan on getting out a lot before season ends. Haven't seen anything from DEC about extending the season. Due to the warm season,my bait sits in the freezer.

I was bow hunting this past friday in 3M and a pack of 7-8 coyotes came running past my stand just as it was starting to get light. The first one stopped 10 feet from my stand, but I didn't shoot because I could not tell if it was someone's german shepard. After the others came running through I realized that it was definitely a coyote. Let's just say I was happy to be in a treestand. I have seen a single coyote in the woods before, but never in a large pack like this.

I hunt 3M and 3J, and have seen no fawns this year. Only big deer. Either the AR is working, or it's the coyotes are eating the fawns.
