Federal Court Rules On Climate Change In Favor Of Today's Children

This is a privately owned website. Why you can't seem to understand that "free speech" doesn't apply here really adds to your lack of credibility. As the all knowledgeable, well versed in the constitution being you come across I would have thought for sure you understood that. You could be banned tomorrow and there's no court that is going to hear your case.

So anyhow, yes Ants I don't read the extremist nonsense. But I do enjoy messing with the bigots and nut jobs that have taken up residence here.

I'm sure this will get locked soon enough and I will just chuckle.

You see almost everything you don't agree with,  as some how bigoted or extremist. So who's the nut job??

What ever, as long as you chuckle instead of cry Im happy for you, oh tolerant one!!!

It's hard to not see someone's agenda when half their posts include the words "Muslim, blacks or Mexicans"

no?

Depends on the content…No?

Indeed it does, and the 'agenda' is unashamedly pro American and pro Western civilization. Belo clearly is of that self-hating generation that was poisoned and inoculated against patriotic and pro cultural thought in the State Brain Washing system.

When it comes to imagined claims of bigotry, racism and anti what ever he certainly does have an itchy trigger finger. Don't voice an opinion or point out a fact about any minority or else…..

Wait…..was that bigoted ???? I bet it was!!!  LOL!!

Left-Wing U.S. Attorneys General Wage Legal Blitzkrieg on Science, Freedom and truth

a bunch of left-wing US Attorneys General have held a meeting in New York — presided over by discredited professional climate-alarmist Al Gore — to discuss how best to use the legal system to wipe out climate scepticism once and for all. They did so under the shamelessly political slogan: “AGs for Clean Power.”

Now the Attorney General of the US Virgin Islands — some utter nonentity called Claude Earl Walker — has gone a step further by actually subpoenaing the Competitive Enterprise Institute to give up ten years’ worth of documents pertaining to its relationship with ExxonMobil.

Walker is trying to nail the oil giant using a criminal statute originally designed to convict drug dealers and mobsters.

The voluminous, harassing 14-page subpoena says Inquisitor Walker is investigating ExxonMobil for “misrepresenting its knowledge of the likelihood that its products and activities have contributed to and are continuing to contribute to climate change in order to defraud the Government … and consumers.” This supposedly violates the Criminally Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, which is the Virgin Islands’ version of the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act, or RICO.

Well good luck with that, Claude Earl Walker, whoever you were — which will be nobody by the time the CEI’s lawyers are done with you. The prosecution case you are about to lend your name to is about as futile, fatuous and imbecilic as launching a class action against dentists for providing insufficient information to children about the Tooth Fairy; or against parents for failing to divulge the truth about Santa Claus.

The Climate Kids Matter More Than Sarah Palin

"Twenty-one young plaintiffs sued the U.S. government, including President Obama, for failing to act to stop climate change. Our Children’s Trust and the so-called “Climate Kids” claimed that young Americans would face future harm caused by older generations. Rising tides, wildfires, hurricanes, and mass food shortages would be their undeserved inheritance.

And the court bought it. That is, Magistrate Judge Coffin ruled that the kids had standing to bring the suit. The Feds’ motion to dismiss was denied.

Here’s the thing: Surviving that motion to dismiss wasn’t easy. The D.O.J. argued forcefully that there is no constitutional right to a pollution-free environment. The court characterized the plaintiffs’ theory as something “novel,” a cross between a civil rights suit and a Clean Air Act/Clean Water Act claim. Many courts would have been reluctant to enter this new legal territory.

The key issue before the court was standing. As Judge Coffin wrote, federal courts are not the forum for airing generalized grievances about federal policies. To establish standing, the Climate Kids needed to allege an injury that was concrete, imminent, and particularized.

Youth helped them show particular harm. Climate change affects all of us, but the plaintiffs contended that it will affect them more and for a longer period than older folks (who will no longer be around). The kids also needed to counter the argument that their case was premature. Judge Coffin admitted that the claim was “nascent,” but ultimately found this to weigh in their favor. The court should not delay the case simply because society is continuously learning about the human causes of climate change. The lawsuit should continue in order to further develop the record and determine the facts.

In short, the Climate Kids were allowed to keep fighting. That in itself is a really big deal.?
