TH41 Posted February 6, 2011 Share Posted February 6, 2011 Saturday morning as we sat coyote hunting. There was a sound at first light,that got the heart pumpin. One gobble rang out, then another ,and another. As it got lighter the woods came alive.Basically all hell broke loose. Fighting purrs,gobbles,old raspy hens squawking, and some kee-kee's. We snuck to the truck and drove to the other side. There were birds scattered across two of the cornfields. Not sure how many, but enough! There was several nice longbeards in the mix.
