Slow start.

I have an 07 Polaris 700 EFI. When I give it the gas it takes a good 2 seconds to actually move. 

Any ATV motor heads have any ideas??? Im thinking its a worn belt???? Machine has around 800 miles on it and I do plow with it in the winter.

No clue really. Is it carb or fuel injected?

Check belt...more than likely the problem

Easy to tell belt is if it revs but doesn't speed up when u hit the gas. Does it do anything else? Idle weird, backfire?

Nothing else,,,,,,,it runs and idles great ……..I figured the belt... it takes an extra second or two to move after you give it the gas……..It has about 900 mi on it now.

 it has the original belt…………and I plow snow with it……..

Yea probably belt, u may know this but when plowing make sure u r using low gear in 4 wheel drive, it will help save your belt.
