Rattlesnake

Could anybody on here help me out? What Dmp area is rattlesnake in? I believe it is in 8m but want to be sure

It doesn't. What dmp area is rattlesnake hill in. I believe it is in 8m just not sure

Rattle snake I think is a state park. 8m is a hunting area

Its state forest. I want to find out what doe tag area I need to apply for in order to hunt rattlesnake

You should be able to find on DEC  map

If you mean rattlesnake Hill WMA, it's 9P.  

Go to the State Lands Interactive Mapper and select the option to show WMU boundaries. Also, 9P requires preference points to draw a DMP, so if you don't them, don't count on getting one.

I have been looking for the past 3 hours. I've hunted in 9p for the past 20 years but I'm tired of the same spot and looking to expand.

I burned up my point last year on one. In my camp we got lucky and had 17 9p tags so that mean we are only gonna get a couple this season and we're trying new areas like rattlesnake

It is most definitely not 8m. Or at least not most of the area. It's 9p. Dec site isn't exactly accurate (says braddock bay is 8f while it's about 90% in 8c and 10% 8a miles away from 8f) just look at the map and line it up yourself or use the interactive mapper. rattlesnake is a nice place, especially when you consider osian is attatched and you can hunt there too, also livingston county (about 70% of rattlesnake) allows rifle hunting now.

You'll enjoy the diversity of that area...Good Luck this season... Seeing your going to that general area...Now this statement may not seem to fit  to you...but I have lived this area all my life, so " A hop skip and a jump" isn't far by my standards..This said Your just that from Wilson's meats, great sausages and snack sticks, in Canaseraga ...then head out toward Arkport out by the dealership turn rt go over tracks and head toward Kanakadea  park there are some big deer roaming there...I know I nearly hit one or two every year going to and coming back from camp.
