Who uses mobile apps.

With all today's technology who here is using their smartphone apps to keep a record of their hunting area.

What are some good ones that are free? What do they do and are they really helpful.

I use google maps to make custom maps. I have overlaid a bunch of icons and paths and comments over areas I've hunted. These contains paths, comments on certain sections, even whether I've seen others put deer stands there or not. I can turn my hunting map on or off with a button within google maps. I generally do all the editing on my PC but I can view it on my phone's google maps app.
