WNYBuckHunter Posted February 11, 2011 Share Posted February 11, 2011 Ingredients: 4 cups white or brown rice 1 1/2 lb venison steaks cut into cubes and seasoned 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 can drained corn 1/2 cup onions, chopped 1/2 cup red or green bell peppers, chopped 1 can drained kidney beans 1 can diced tomatoes (not drained) - Cook white or brown rice as directed. - Season Venison cubes with Wild Game Seasoning (or however you generally like to spice your steaks) - Fry venison and Worcestershire on medium heat in a large frying pan until venison is cooked to your liking. - Leave all juices in the pan and add rice, corn, onion, bell peppers, kidney beans, and tomatoes (with juice). - Cook on medium heat, for about 15 minutes or until the rice starts to brown a bit and the beans soften up. Fantail Posted March 21, 2011 Share Posted March 21, 2011 Hey I tried this the other day, for a company picnic share-a-dish thing. Had alot of compliments. I axed the beans and used a crock pot but other then that it was a nice change of pace. We do this about twice a year, and I of course usually do a venison dish.
