Scent drags

Anyone ever use them? If so, any success ?

Right time right scent, it works. It depends on the class buck your after. The young 1-2yr olds are easy to fool with the scents but the 3 and up seem to know what's up, but during the heat of the rut if a mature buck is moving on to find a new hot doe, you may catch him off guard and have him follow your trail.

I have never really used scents before, do you recommend any?

I don't know all that much about it, but one thing I do the few times I've done it , is walk like a deer. I other words don't walk in a straight line never stopping .

I stop,  kind of jig it I bit, wander this way then that , and end up upwind of your stand and leave it there .

Like other things, I've had GREAT luck with drag lines before and I've also had bucks cross the scent line before without paying it any attention. Kind of a crap shoot...

Always drag one...even tie to back of quad riding in and drag it while riding never had it hurt anything if anything it helps as said....
