Got to love blood trails in the snow!!

Filled another tag with a good doe, roughly 115-120lbs, shot her at 25 yds, shot her Monday, opening day of BP season... It was a blood trail Stevie Wonder could have followed.. LOL Took my old T/C Omega out for a change, 250 grain T/C Shockwave over 80 grains of Black Horn 209... Freezer is now full, time to relax and start planning for turkey season... LOL

Good job! I had the opposite issue this past week. Snow is good. Snowing is almost as bad as rain. Tracking light blood in a heavy snow storm sucks!

Where did you hit and what did the bullet do; go out the other side I assume--how much of a hole?

Hit her high lung right side, in the pic you can see it up from the end of the scope.... Exit wasn't bad at all... I held behind the shoulder to avoid meat damage... They just run farther but she was dead on her feet... 250 grain shock wave... on top of 80 grains of Black Horn 209..
