Call coyotes w/ turkey call?

Anyone have any luck calling coyotes with a turkey call during the winter?  I've called them in accidentally while turkey hunting in May.  I would think it would work in winter.  Just looking for other people's experiences.  Here at the house, I've actually called in as many coyotes/bobcats as I have turkeys.  Between the predators and the ticks, I don't turkey hunt here anymore.

Like you I have called them in during spring turkey but have never used a turkey call to try to call them in during predator season. Not sure if it would work or not. Might be worth a try since by now the have heard the "dying rabbit" a thousand times.

I tried it during the bow season this year.  There was a coyote that I was seeing occasionally harassing deer.  A couple of times, he was out in the open in a field.  I had a turkey decoy out and made a few clucks and purrs.  No response at all.
