344 pics and 189 on another camera in less than 2days....They are hitting the turnips but mainly the clover plots...It was hard to tell what but dark hocks body and face...along with a few leg lift "junk" cleaning in front of the cams showed a few big buck have made it for next and several small guys including a bunch of buttons. These all came in in groups separate from the doe and fawn. I'm a tad surprised by this.  I thought bucks didn't go into a regular group until closer to the spring/summer I'm assuming the button bucks together were all orphaned fawns that grouped up. I also noticed many more button bucks compared to doe fawn in these pics which is the second year I've mentioned an increase in male to female fawns. Mother nature seems to be putting in a plan of her own.

No pics I've been formatting cards..Oh wait I did save one day time...This is a button that I thought I down loaded from a cam near that barn in the turnips..it didn't make it apparently but this one did. You can see me coming across the road to check cams yesterday and he's watching me. The time and date stamp are wrong ...it was around 1pm. He's a loner, that beds not far from the clover and turnip plots alone. He mainly stays in the poplar timber I cut down last year in hopes to get grouse interested again with new sprouts...made great bedding.

They came right back and fed in the turnips all night...that little spike gave me another picture almost exactly the same as the first one I lost...There were so many turnips left in that plot I was afraid they may go to waste...now they are all nearly gone...though some were so big from the Hercules  brand it literally took them weeks to finish a single bulb and there were a lot of them...funny when it got so warm and the bulbs softened ,they abandoned the partially eaten ones for the firm whole ones...now that they refroze...they have gone in and finished them up... 144 pics from yesterday at 1pm until this morning at 11am on just that cam...they are hungry...

Were the turnips a big draw during hunting season? Or have the bulk of them been eaten after the season closed? Thinking of putting in an acre or so this year. Also thinking about putting in sugar beets, between the woods edge and the corn.
