moog5050
https://www.chasenation.co/single-post/2017/04/11/When-Hunters-Collide Good article posted on the hunting beast. I agree with the sentiment of the author, even thought I never hunted in the good ole days!
The_Real_TCIII
My old boss used to say "Five years from now these will be the good old days". He was wrong though I hated that job and im much happier now. So im looking forward to great hunting in the future!
Fletch
Good article. I am 50 this year and when I started at 14 up in the Dacks the hunting was tough. There was not the big antler chase there is now. Folks admired a bigun but also respected all the harvests and gave congratz and meant it. Society in general is way different now. Each year it is more a me me me movement. And TV, internet, smart phone..reality TV it is all about look at me. Most of us are guilty of adding to some of it. I just wish we could slow it down lol.
monahmat
Definitely rings true. Seems like a lot more hunters focussed on racks than comraderie. I havent been hunting as long as many here but it seems like 20 years ago a lot more hunters helped one another. I'd rather see more succesful hunters than bigger racks but I know not everyone feels the same.Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
