When Hunters Collide

Good article. I am 50 this year and when I started at 14 up in the Dacks the hunting was tough. There was not the big antler chase there is now. Folks admired a bigun but also respected all the harvests and gave congratz and meant it. Society in general is way different now. Each year it is more a me me me movement. And TV, internet, smart phone..reality TV it is all about look at me. Most of us are guilty of adding to some of it. I just wish we could slow it down lol.

Definitely rings true. Seems like a lot more hunters focussed on racks than comraderie. I havent been hunting as long as many here but it seems like 20 years ago a lot more hunters helped one another. I'd rather see more succesful hunters than bigger racks but I know not everyone feels the same.
