I have a ?1957 superposed lightning 12 sk/sk I bought (in rough shape) to refinish that I no longer have interest in. The gun has had the blowing removed and the wood needs to be totally refinished. Some pitting on the recover edges, tang and trigger. If it was in good shape it would be a 1500$ gun...it needs a lot of love to get there. A few hours and you could have a respectable bird/clays gun that is built like a tank. Obviously we have the FFL and legal path to follow if you want it. I would have loved to pick it up for the GF as a present. She recently started shooting sporting clays with me. If only this was later in the year. Best of luck on the sale. Once that gun gets a nice refurb it should be a nice addition to someones collection

Totally agree with you. Can't believe I'm selling it but every time I see it there is a reminder how little free time I have.
