I assume you use a .50 caliber front stuffer.  I've shot a couple of yotes with a 7mm08 and it didn't put much blood on the fur.  Take them any way you can.  Not enough hunters do.

Correct. .50 cal.  I've take several with my 7mm08 as well and they don't have as big a hole in them compared to the muzzle loader.

I actually have 2 yote notches on the smoke pole. One was full run at about 30yrds and the other was a hail Mary through the hardwoods. I'm never scared to let one fly at a dog. Nice job on yours ! Def punched a hole in em, he won't hold water anymore.
